There is no cut and dry response when it comes to how long your body needs to rest between muscle training workouts. The answer lies somewhere squarely between “it depends” and “you know your body best”. There is a lot of information available online from different sources like coaches and trainers, but ultimately the consensus is that you need to make that decision for yourself, or in conjunction with a trusted health and fitness consultant or advisor.

The reason we need to be mindful that we make personal decisions when it comes to the time our body needs to rest between muscle training workouts is because we each have a unique body type and our staminas and capabilities vary widely.
