One of the lesser known products as part of our 100% wellness alternatives are our versatile, easy to use and wonderful to experience body mists. Many times, our body mists are products that have been formulated as part of a full line of existing popular products (like Sleep Well, for example) to offer another product format to explore, or they’re blended as a standalone product to help you achieve a desired wellness goal.

Whichever body mist you choose, we love adding these soothing, refreshing and uplifting products into our daily routine as a way to experience the benefits of different essential oils through inhalation. All of our body mists are designed to be sprayed into the air, misted gently over the hair, face, and body with an added bonus of allowing you to take a few deep breaths and enjoy their aromatic properties as well. Let’s explore a couple of popular body mists below.

BODY MISTS FOR YOUR OVERALL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

 

There are many reasons someone might choose a body mist as part of their daily self care routine. Body mists can be used to refresh the hair and the skin, they can be used to support a physical ailment like pain or stress, or they can be used as an enjoyable, aromatic product that helps to give you a moment of wellness in your day. We’ve chosen three of our favorite body mists to showcase below, and all of the ways you might choose to use them:

Rose Mist: for those who love the sweet, subtle and floral aroma of rose petals, this personal mist is a real treat. Blended with only distilled water and pure rose otto essential oil, this mist is fantastic as a hair and face mist as part of your skin care routine, a mood lifter throughout the day and even as a fabric refresher when spritzed over clothes and bedding. Our favorite way to use Rose Mist? After cleansing our face and before applying moisturizer.

 

All-Natural Body Mists

 

Refresh Mist: this is a Community-favorite mist during the hotter months of the year, as Refresh is blended with cooling and soothing essential oils like spearmint, eucalyptus and lemon. We like to spritz this mist generously over the skin on the body after spending time in the sun or after a vigorous workout. A hot tip? Store this mist in the fridge or chill over ice for an extra cool-down.

Stress Release Mist: this is the body mist we reach for when we’re feeling the physical and emotional manifestations of stress, whether it’s tensing of areas in the body like the shoulders and jawline or experiencing racing thoughts and nervous chatter. To help keep stress at bay, we like to mist generously into the air above the head and breathe deeply as the mist falls over the skin. Another tip would be to layer products together for extra effect; you can try rolling the Stress Release roll-on onto the forehead or across the shoulders, followed by misting the hair, face and body when you’re looking for rest and relaxation.

With any of our body mists, we recommend shaking the bottle vigorously to combine the essential oils and water before each use.

LIFESTYLE TIPS FOR INCORPORATING BODY MISTS INTO YOUR DAILY ROUTINE

 

If body mists aren’t yet part of your daily self care routine, here are our favorite ways to incorporate them as part of your healthy lifestyle:

  1. As a midday pick me up. Try misting your favorite scent overhead throughout the day to not only give you a physical refresh, but a mental one as well. Perk up before your afternoon meeting or wind down at the end of a long day with fresh, inviting scents.
  2. As part of your skin care routine. Try a gentle mist over the face as part of your skin care routine in the morning and at night. Because of the delicate skin and tissues on the face, we would avoid anything tingling that could be sensitizing like mint and would instead opt for gentle ingredients such as rose, lavender or chamomile.
  3. To set the tone for rest. As part of your wind down routine at bedtime, try spritzing your favorite relaxing body mist blend over your pillows, sheets and bedding to help create a welcome space for rest and relaxation.
