With little government regulation around the use of the word ‘natural’, determining what is truly natural, safe, and effective can be very difficult. That’s why we license our products through government bodies and respected third-party organizations to back up our rigorous internal policies and thorough quality assurance.

We pioneered efforts and led the essential oil industry while Health Canada created a category within the Natural Health Product Regulations to encompass essential oil-based medicinal products. Because of this, over 100 Saje products in Canada have Natural Product Numbers (NPNs) which lets you know that the product information has been reviewed by Health Canada.

Some of our products in the US are Over-the-Counter (OTC) Non-Prescription Drugs. OTCs are drugs that are available without a prescription that are intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease. Each of these products has met FDA regulations that define safety, effectiveness, and labeling as defined within a specific final monograph for that product.
