How to Use

Suggested Uses

  • Adults: for massage, add 2 drops to 4tsp of carrier oil
  • Add 4-12 drops to a bowl of steaming water/facial steamer and inhale deeply for 5-10 minutes
  • Add 1 drop to 2tsp carrier oil of your choice (like fractionated coconut oil or jojoba) for local application
  • Add 5-10 drops to your diffuser of choice; add additional drops as desired
  • Less is more; for all methods of application, start with the lowest suggested number of drops and add according to your preference
  • Our diffuser blends are compatible with all ultrasonic diffusers

Overview

Bergamot is a tart, sweet and clarifying essential oil that supports the body and mind in feeling renewed and restored. Like all varieties of citrus, the peel of this fruit contains small sacs filled with essential oil that are distilled through a method called cold expression. The pulp of the bergamot is too sour to eat so the fruit is grown solely for the fresh and lively essential oil it produces.

Bergamot is comforting and supportive. Emotionally, it's frequently used to ease heavy or difficult feelings. Because it's known to invite feelings of joyfulness, bergamot is often included in products formulated to bring about a sense of cheerfulness. Physically, it's relieving and soothing to the body and can promote healthy-looking skin.
