I wish I would have been more aware and more conscious at the beginning: then I would have done things differently.
Mheyah is the founder of Connection Point, and describes herself as a ‘connection coach’; a facilitator of love, connection, happiness and professional success. She believes “no relationship can be truly happy, fulfilling and successful without knowing how to express yourself to the important people in your life whether it is your significant other, families, colleagues or in your community.” Her philosophy is grounded in the idea that what we all want is to feel valued, loved, respected, special, and feel like we are contributing to society.

GoFundMe
A free fundraising platform, GoFundMe provides personal online fundraising websites for individuals, groups and organizations. Users can share their story and attract support from around the world. Mheyah was encouraged to create a GoFundMe page to support the alternative treatments she wanted to pursue after her second cancer diagnosis.
Mistletoe Therapy
Used in conjunction with other forms of cancer treatment, mistletoe therapy involves site-specific injections that stimulate an immune response in the body that works to strengthen the entire system. It is regularly-prescribed in Germany, and is becoming more common in North America. Dr. McLeod explains that this treatment has been around for more than 100 years and was first used because the mistletoe fruit looked like a tumour.
Hyperthermia Therapy
Not to be confused with hypothermia, hyperthermia is a treatment that can accompany chemotherapy. Most common in Europe, the treatment works by safely heating the tissues of the body in order to increase the efficacy of chemotherapy drugs being administered for cancer treatment.
