Natural wellness is moving up!
Saje was ranked No. 49 on this year’s PROFIT 500 list.
On September 14, 2017, Canadian Business and PROFIT ranked Saje No. 49 on the 29th annual PROFIT 500, the definitive ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies. Published in the October issue of Maclean’s magazine and on CanadianBusiness.com, the PROFIT 500 ranks Canadian businesses by their five-year revenue growth.
We’re honoured to announce we made the 2017 PROFIT 500 due to our five-year revenue growth of 1,547%. This rose significantly from our previous No. 74 listing on the 2016 PROFIT 500, and our No. 154 ranking in 2015.
A true testament to teamwork
“We are so grateful to again see growth in our PROFIT 500 ranking, marking continued success as we expand our retail presence and spread wellness further into the North American market,” says Co-Founder and CEO, Kate Ross LeBlanc. “The year’s ranking is a true testament to our dedicated, passionate teams who continue to educate our communities on the healing power of plants. We are thrilled to celebrate this new milestone on our journey to spread global wellness.”
Resilience meets innovation
“It is never easy to earn a spot on the PROFIT 500, but this year’s applicant pool was the most competitive yet,” says Deborah Aarts, PROFIT 500 Program Manager. “This year’s winners demonstrate the resilience, innovation and sheer management smarts it takes to build a thriving business today. Canada—and the world—needs more entrepreneurial success stories like these.”
Celebrating 25 years of success
Founded in 1992 by Vancouver-based entrepreneurs Kate Ross LeBlanc and Jean-Pierre LeBlanc, Saje is dedicated to connecting people with the healing power of plants through 100% essential oil-based products. All of which are sustainably sourced and distilled from all over the world. Celebrating a monumental first 25 years, Saje Natural Wellness currently has 52 retail locations in Canada and 16 in the US, serving communities across North America. In 2016, Kate and Jean-Pierre were honoured with EY Canada Entrepreneur of the Year award for Retail/Hospitality.
We credit this progress to the growing international movement towards wellness, word-of-mouth advocacy from our incredible community members coast to coast, and consistently engaging with new communities through wellness education.
We’ve only just begun
And we’re only getting started! By 2020, we aim to have 250 retail locations opened, connecting thousands more community members with the healing power of plants.
