How to Crochet a Cozy for Your Aroma Om Diffuser

A handmade collaboration with Chloé Soldevila of @planetchloeee999
Last Updated: 08/22/2026

The seasonal shift from summer to fall is the perfect time to slow down and embrace rituals that help you feel grounded. It can be as simple as finding the coziest spot in your home and turning on your diffuser.

There's no better way to get ready for sweater weather than to give the Aroma Om diffuser a sweater of its own. To celebrate the launch of our limited-edition Autumn Air collection, we asked Chloé Soldevila, a multidisciplinary artist from Montreal, to design a crochet cozy for our community favorite diffuser.

Want to crochet an Aroma Om Cozy of your own? Chloé has created beginner-friendly instructions to create your own Cozy. Happy crocheting!

Meet Chloé

Through @planetchloeee999, Chloé turns yarn into playful, expressive pieces full of personality, each one a little different from the last. There's a rhythm to crochet, the same kind of quiet, repetitive focus we look for in a good aromatherapy ritual: one stitch, one breath, one moment at a time.

For our collaboration, we asked Chloé to bring that same spirit to the Aroma Om Diffuser. The result is a cozy made slowly, by hand, for a tool that's meant to help you slow down too, so the making becomes part of the ritual, not just what wraps around it.

Ready to make your own?

The pattern was designed with beginners in mind, so you don't need to be an experienced crocheter to give it a try. The cozy is worked flat, back and forth in rows, to create a rectangular piece. Once complete, the edges are sewn together to form a tube that fits around your Aroma Om. No rush, no pressure, just a project you can pick up whenever you want a few minutes of hands-on quiet.

What You’ll Need

Before you get started, gather your supplies:

  • Ricorumi DK yarn by Rico Design in Colour 61 (Cloud)
  • 4 mm crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors
  • Aroma Om Diffuser

How the Aroma Om Cozy Comes Together

The construction is simpler than it might look.

You’ll start by creating your foundation chain, then crochet back and forth in rows to build the main piece of the cozy. The same kind of steady, repetitive motion that makes crochet feel almost meditative once you find your rhythm.

The full pattern alternates single crochet and half double crochet stitches to create the finished shape and texture.

Continue crocheting until you’ve completed 25 rows, or until the piece is wide enough to wrap comfortably around your Aroma Om.

Once the crochet is complete, fold the piece so the two short edges meet, sew them together with your yarn needle and weave in any loose ends. Then turn the cozy to your preferred side and slip it onto your diffuser.

A Little Ritual, Made by Hand

There's something fitting about pairing a slow, hands-on craft with a diffuser built for exactly that kind of pause. Once it's on, the Aroma Om Cozy isn't just a finishing touch; it's a small reminder that the space around you and the rituals you build into it, can be things you made yourself.

Made one? We’d love to see it. Share your finished Aroma Om Cozy and tag @sajewellness and @planetchloeee999 so we can see how you made it your own.
