How to Use

Suggested Uses

For the temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises, sprains.Adults: Apply a thin layer to affected area not more than 3-4 times daily, massaging well into skin. Wash hands well after use. Patch test recommended prior to use. Spatula recommended to reduce contact with the product. Do not inhale directly–keep lid on product when not in use.

Packaging Information

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not use while pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin. Do not bandage tightly or use with external heat (like a heating pad). This may result in skin irritation or skin burn. Stop use and ask a doctor if the condition worsens, if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clear up and reoccur within a few days.

Heat can help to relax the muscles and work to decrease certain types of pain sensations, and heat is also an important part of what we refer to as an analgesic effect, which means to numb an acute area. 

Formulated for those who prefer a warming sensorial experience as part of recovery, this balm is strong, and should be used sparingly (a little goes a long way).

"This product is wonderful and for many it works great! Yes it makes the skin feel like it burns at times, (for me its when the pain isn't as strong it sometimes burns) I just learned to add less or use regular roll on pain relief. Note it does advertise as it gets hot. Please don't discontinue this produce please as so many of us do love it. Maybe sell a sample size for first time users to try it out. I actually have to purchase it in the USA for my mother in Canada. Again, we love this product but note if you have sensitive skin purchase the Pain relief roll on 💕"

OUCH

"Have used Saje products for a lengthy amount of time and have never had any issues… this product is by far the worst and most painful product I’ve ever used at Saje. As the other 1 star reviews state it genuinely feels like my skin is burning off and I am covered in rashes and welts where I applied the product. I’ve tried showering and even icing overtop and it still feels like my skin is on fire and burning hours after application. Genuinely suggest this product has more disclaimers because this is truly awful."

"Yes it does get hot the first time you use it and the more you rub it in. However, It feels better than the pain you might be having. I did feel like it was burning my neck but again it was way better than the pain I was having. I have bought quite a few of these and handed it out to people. They all love it."

"I love saje products but this one I would not recommend due to the burning sensation this balm gives. I believe it’s the capsaicin. The overwhelming burning sensation doesn’t go away for a very long time. It smells lovely and is a great texture but it causes more discomfort :("

"I do not like this rub it butns bad And i put on in morning and still burning at 8:30 pm im having a bath to wash off and i can’t even put my leg in bath as it burns more with the warm water I will never purchase again or recommend… i enjoy the other products but this is xnay for myself !!!"
