INTRODUCING THE CARRIER OILS IN OUR SKIN CARE PRODUCTS
Carrier oils are important ingredients in skin care products that help to ‘carry’ the essential oils and other plant extracts to the skin. Carrier oils are naturally derived from vegetarian sources like nuts, seeds and kernels of different plants, and are used in part to dilute essential oils, making them safe for direct application to the skin.
As part of our brand new collection of skin care products, we’ve curated a list of carrier oils, plant extracts and other ingredients to share the benefits and properties of these precious, nature-derived ingredients in helping support healthy looking, happy and supple skin. Read on to learn more about some of the ingredients in our new formulas.
Carrier oils and some of their benefits in skin care:
Jojoba Oil: skin-regulating, similar to skin’s natural sebum, non-oily, absorbent, soothes and relieves the appearance of irritation like redness, sunburn or dryness, rich in antioxidants, calming, supports and protects the outer skin layer
Plant Squalane: fermented from cane sugar, provides non-oily hydration, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, non-comedogenic and non-clogging to the pores, helps control oil production, mimics your skin’s natural oils, excellent emollient
Raspberry Seed Oil: antioxidant-rich oil pressed from upcycled seeds diverted from food waste, nourishing, protective, helps protect against free radicals and airborne environmental stressors, boosts collagen and elastin for the appearance of firmer skin, has natural SPF/sun protectant properties
Parsley Seed Oil: high in vitamin C and antioxidants, provides support in minimizing the occurrence of blemishes and breakouts, balances oil production, decreases the appearance of irritation like inflammation, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by protecting the skin against environmental stressors
Calendula Oil: best known for being a great support to skin's natural ability to heal, plumps the outer layer of the skin for a smooth and supple appearance, soothes the appearance of inflammation like redness and helps protect collagen and elastin
Apricot Kernel Oil: mild, gentle and suitable for all skin types, light and absorbs into skin quickly, helps smooth the skin’s texture and visibly improves skin tone, helps maintain softness and radiance in the skin
Camellia Seed Oil: contains high levels of fatty acids to hydrate while providing a non-oily feeling, naturally high in antioxidants and rich in vitamins A & B, anti-aging abilities like improving the skin’s elasticity and helping to prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles
Camelina Seed Oil: high in vitamin E and omega-3 content which promotes soothing of skin, mild and pleasant aroma, helps to visibly improve skin tone and prevent damage from free radicals
Evening Primrose Oil: rich in gamma linolenic acid to renew the skin and provide deep hydration, high in omega-6 fatty acids to improve hydration and elasticity and decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Avocado Oil: rich oil to remove makeup and dirt while leaving skin hydrated and soft, calms and replenishes dry, itchy skin, helps protect against skin damage and reduces visible signs of aging from ultraviolet radiation
Coconut Oil: hydrating and proven effective at removing makeup and impurities from the skin gently, reduces the appearance of inflammation and irritation, locks in moisture and helps protect the skin’s natural barrier
Rosehip Oil: is the most abundant source of linoleic acid, phenolic acids and antioxidants for protections against oxidative stress, protects the skin, soothes inflammation and deeply hydrates, provides gentle exfoliation and helps brighten the skin
Pomegranate Seed Oil: antioxidant-rich oil, has anti-aging properties, is abundant in vitamin C and offers nourishing, regenerating and antioxidant rich renewing properties to promote plump, glowing skin
Prickly Pear Seed Oil: rich in vitamins E & K and antioxidants, hydrating, prevents skin damage by calming the appearance of inflammation, helps to restore elasticity and brightens the skin, gentle and is safe for all skin types
Sunflower Seed Oil: rich in nutrients, vitamin E and antioxidants, effective in relieving signs of irritation and inflammation like redness and breakouts, emollient properties that help the skin retain moisture
Argan Kernel Oil: rich in omega fatty acids, vitamin E and linoleic acids, provides light, non-greasy moisture, helps soften dry patches, helps to strengthen skin tissue to prevent the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Safflower Seed Oil: non-comedogenic and won’t clog the pores, helps reduce the appearance of inflammation like redness, breakouts and pimples, helps create balance in the skin for the appearance of clear, radiant skin tone
Blueberry Seed Oil: high antioxidant levels to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of aging, makes the skin look plump and firm, helps repair damaged skin and supports soothing, easing and relieving skin conditions like dryness, inflammation and redness

Oat Kernel Extract: non-gluten, non-soy source of ceramides and antioxidants including vitamin E, naturally hydrating, balancing, soothes and fortifies the skin's barrier
Shea Butter: high concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins, skin softening, reduces the appearance of inflammation, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Nature Derived Hyaluronic Acid: produced through fermentation, hyaluronic acid can attract 1,000 times its weight in water to provide temporary hydration and softness to the skin, helps alleviate excessive dryness, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, helps plump and soften the skin
Alum Salts: liquid mineral salts derived from natural formations on rock act as a skin toner, help prevent the formation of bacteria on the skin, remove lingering traces of dirt, oil and makeup, provide toning and clarifying to the skin for a clear, fresh, radiant appearance
Elderberry Fruit Extract: helps prevent breakouts to keep skin looking healthy, supple and clear, promotes fresh, clear skin that feels toned and soothed, high in levels of vitamin A to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Glow On is a three step skin care system for normal or combination skin, with a fresh, green and herbal aroma. The hero ingredient in this product line is parsley seed oil to balance and protect the skin as part of a daily routine for cleansing, hydrating and treating the face.
Calm-O-Mile is a three step skin care system for sensitive or irritated skin, with a mild, delicate and floral aroma. The hero ingredient in this product line is chamomile to gently treat and soften the skin as part of a daily routine for cleansing, hydrating and treating the face.
True Dew is a three step skin care system for dry or mature skin, with a sweet, floral and herbal aroma. The hero ingredient in this product line is rose otto to nourish and deeply hydrate the skin as part of a daily routine for cleansing, hydrating and treating the face.
Claritea is a three step skin care system for acne, blemish prone or oily skin, with a fresh, camphorous and medicinal aroma. The hero ingredient in this product line is tea tree to balance, soothe and clarify the skin as part of a daily routine for cleansing, toning and hydrating the face.
